In the course of responding to enquiries and providing our advisory services, we collect personal information where it is reasonably necessary for school placement and related support services, or where you voluntarily provide it. We collect personal information directly from you, through our website enquiry form, WeChat, WhatsApp, email, telephone, and during consultations. We collect and use personal information to respond to your enquiry; to provide our educational advisory services, including assessing suitability and matching students to schools; to prepare and support school applications; to coordinate with schools, registered migration agents and guardians on your behalf; to communicate with you throughout an engagement; and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. To provide our services we may, with your consent, disclose personal information to Australian boarding schools and their admissions and international student offices; registered migration agents engaged for visa applications; approved guardians and guardianship providers; and English-language testing providers. Because we work with families based in China and with schools and service providers in Australia, providing our services involves disclosing personal information to recipients in both China and Australia, where this is reasonably necessary for the engagement. By providing your information and engaging our services, you consent to this cross-border disclosure. Many of the students we assist are under 18. We collect a student's information from their parent or legal guardian, and we rely on the parent or guardian's consent for the collection, use and disclosure of that information.
